Standard consultations can be scheduled with your regular doctor or the next available doctor, depending on preference and availability.<\/p>\n

Extended consultations are available. Please tell reception when booking if you expect to discuss several concerns or need extra time.<\/p>\n

  • Minor service:<\/strong> a brief consultation for a straightforward concern.<\/li>\n
  • Specific service:<\/strong> a standard consultation involving relevant history, examination and management.<\/li>\n
  • Extended service:<\/strong> a longer consultation for more complex care or several concerns.<\/li>\n
  • Comprehensive service:<\/strong> an extensive consultation requiring detailed history, examination or investigation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

    Fees and billing<\/span><\/span><\/h2>

    Fraser Shores Medical Centre is a mixed billing practice.<\/p>\n

    Local Veterans\u2019 Affairs patients, pensioners, health care card holders and children under 16 are bulk billed. Out-of-pocket costs may apply to complex surgical procedures.<\/p>\n

    • Standard consultation: $90<\/li>\n
    • Long consultation: $130<\/li>\n
    • Overseas visitors: $150<\/li>\n
    • Full body skin scan: $150 and not refundable by Medicare<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Fees can change. Please contact reception to confirm the current cost for your appointment. Payment is required on the day by card, EFTPOS or cash.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>

      Parking, privacy and reminders<\/span><\/span><\/h2>

      Dedicated off-street patient parking is available around the building.<\/p>\n

      The practice is committed to protecting patient privacy and confidentiality. A privacy policy and collection statement are available online or from reception.<\/p>\n

      Preventive-care reminders and practice information may be issued from time to time. Ask reception if you would prefer not to receive these notices.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

      After-hours care<\/span><\/span><\/h2>

      If you need urgent medical attention after hours, call the practice on (07) 4124 6333<\/strong>. A recorded message will explain how to contact the doctor on duty or the after-hours service.<\/p>\n

      After-hours consultations may incur a fee. Confirm the applicable fee when arranging care.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>
